After a conversation with Helen, a $500 non-refundable retainer reserves a puppy.

Usually between 10 to 12 weeks of age.

Puppies will have had age appropriate vaccines. They receive their first set of vaccines at 8 weeks old, so if they leave at 10 weeks old, they will have had one set of vaccines.

We cannot guarantee what weight your Yorkie will be; however, our Yorkies all weigh under seven pounds. Generally our puppies mature between four and seven pounds; although occasionally some mature under four pounds or over seven pounds. Diet and exercise also play a part.

Yes. Puppies are guaranteed for their first year against serious hereditary disease and congenital anomalies.

Pups leave with a puppy pack containing a one year health guarantee, a Florida veterinary certified health certificate, AKC puppy registration paper, informational pages about how to care for your new puppy, toys, a blanket, and food. Additionally, I am always here if you have questions or need advice.

Unless discussed in advance, puppies are sold with limited/pet AKC registration (no breeding rights).

Yes. We can fly your new puppy personally in cabin to many U.S. airports, and depending on your location we may be able to drive and meet up.

Not exactly. No dog is truly hypoallergenic; however, Yorkies have hair not fur, so they tend to be a good choice for allergy sufferers.

No, not anymore. Some of our adults have docked tails and some do not. We love them all but there are a number of reasons why we’ve now decided to raise our Yorkshire Terriers as naturally as possible, which includes leaving their beautiful tails intact:

1) A dog’s tail is an important tool for communication and balance. Dogs use their tails to express emotion, interact with other animals, and help with coordination as they move.

2) We prioritize the health, comfort, and natural anatomy of our puppies. Removing a tail alters a part of their natural body structure, and we feel there’s no medical justification for this in a Yorkshire Terrier.

3) Many countries and breed organizations around the world have banned tail docking, recognizing it as a painful and unnecessary cosmetic practice. We’re proud to be part of the growing number of breeders choosing a more natural, welfare-based approach.

Our Yorkie puppies are beautiful just as nature intended — tails and all!

We choose to leave our puppies’ front dewclaws intact as they’re a natural part of a dog’s anatomy, rarely cause issues in toy breeds, support the wrist joint especially when turning, and help with simple tasks like gripping toys and stabilizing while chewing.

However, if a puppy is born with rear dewclaws (rarely), we will have those removed within the first few days after birth. Unlike the front dewclaws, rear dewclaws in Yorkies typically serve no functional purpose, are often loosely attached, and can be prone to injury or snagging as the dog grows. Removing them at this early age is a simple procedure that helps prevent potential issues later in life.
